Hi Brenda thank you so much for your kind welcome. With regard to your second comment, thank you too for persevering, nine attempts! I would like your help please, my grand daughter helped me to set up my blog page yesterday so everything is very new! Any and all help will be welcome. Look forward to hearing from you.
Tried to mail you but can't fin an addy, did you realise you had word verification switched on ?
It's so hard to read on the new blog system - took me nine attempts to leave first comment. If you're unsure how to switch it off just drop me a mail and am happy to help.
Hi again Brenda, I think we have managed to switch off word verification now, would you please try and contact me just so I know that my granddaughter has done it right? I will also put my email address onto my profile now so you can contact me.
Hello Carol wow your work is fabulous , its quite scary when you fist join blogland , I joined in February this year and am now having so much fun . Any probs just email me if , I can help you I will. Hugs Elaine
Love your card...That little owl is so darned cute!
I see you are on blogger...so am I! I'd be glad to help you with anything...I am not very technically adept but have found blogging fairly easy.
I did have a problem with storage dwindling that I couldn't figure out...posted about it and got some fab advice instantly and problem sorted...it was a blogger problem that was affecting many more than just myself and everyone was in the same boat trying to figure it out... Just using that to illustrate how helpful the blogging community is. So the upshot is if you want to never have to pay blogger for storage to upload your pictures, resize everything to 800 pixels or less before you post them on your blog. 800 pixels and under does not count towards your storage maximum.
When you are in the midst of uploading a photo to your post through blogger, right click on your pictures while it is still in your picture folder on your computer...you should get an edit choice, click on that and choose resize. Then chose to set the pixels, erase the side that it is showing and type in 800 or 799, your program will automatically fill in the second box, click OK and then close that up. A popup will ask if you want to save the changes, click yes. Then upload that resized picture to your blog.
Otherwise about a year from now you will run out of storage room:(
Whoops...just realized the comments on this post about you being a new blogger and seeking help were back in 2012...You probably know what I posted about above! Sorry I didn't notice the date...
A great fun creation Carol, whenever I see an owl on a piece of artwork it makes me smile, it's something about their welcoming faces.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for joining our autumn leaves and trees theme at Allsorts this week.
