WOYWW

Good cloudy morning to you all. Yes it is Wednesday again time to check in with Julia Dunnit at Stamping Ground  http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ and see what is on desks around the globe. A whole lot of mess! That is what is on mine today, used baby wipes, Distress Inks, Sakura Gel pens on top of a pile of toppers waiting to be coloured in. A pile of Kanban stamps, a little pot of rubbish, some white glue that I thought was PVA but I now don't think it is, as I didn't get the required gunge effect-see yesterday's post. My black pro-marker, which I thought I had lost and so replaced it only last week and now it is found! I knew I should have said a prayer to St Anthony! Near the pem my pokey tool. Well that's it I think, I have also posted one of the cards I made with part of what was piled on my desk last week. Well that's it got to go, in school all day today, will start to visit you all this evening. Have a good day. Keep warm.

  1. Hi Carol, your desk looks like you have been very busy. Liking the look of the finished card, the brick background is lovely and the tape measure looks very realistic. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #37

  8. Hi Ria, the glue is a sample I got one from of the reps ages ago when I was in school, it is waterbased- I read on the label. Not as glossy as the old Marvin medium we used years ago. This one is a good wet glue but not giving me the effect i wanted, I will just keep playing until I get it right.

    1. Good bright morning to you neighbour! I live at Tong Fold, not far from Ainsworth, do you live on the Bolton or Bury side of Ainsworth? I volunteer in school. I really missed the kids, but not the paperwork, so now I get the best of both worlds. Keep in touch.

  16. My house is always stealing stuff and will only give it back when it wants too. I had a pair of scissors stolen for nearly a year, yep the house took it for that long, I thought they might of ended up in the rubbish never to be found again. The powers of the house is amamzing. Love your messy desk, it mean productivity and your cards are beautiful.

  20. This tidying we are all doing is turning up so many things that were lost. Quite fun, really. However, I still have not found my foiling kit. I think the Borrowers have used it all up for curtains and carpets etc. We need to get all our tidying done before the next lot of snow comes on Saturday. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a very good week. xx Maggie #42
