Feeling Floral

http://oldiebutagoodiechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Good cold and drizzly morning to you all. I am late posting today, but I have finished my ironing! Can I say thank you and welcome to my new follower SanDee1899, I will be popping round to see you one way or another today. I am entering this first card into the Oldie but a Goodie Challenge-Feeling Floral. So here goes: Background papers are some of my 'oldies' I must have had these for six years, I got them in America when I was visiting my daughter and family, Josef was 6 months old, he was 7 in October-oh yes DCWV. Blank Kanban topper, LOTV stamp coloured in with Pro-markers, Sakura gel pens, flowers and bling from stash that I have had for years, Spellbinder Die, sentiment-Creator's companion I think. Well that's it for my first card.

This next card is one of a group of cards I made for my friends husband to choose from, she is 70 today, and he is still not fully mobile from his knee replacement op. Well not mobile enough to walk to the shop anyway, though he is doing very well. I did a selection, so he had a choice, I didn't take pics until I got back yesterday, he actually chose one with a LOTV stamp on, so hopefully I am slowly educating him into how much effort can go into hand made cards. The one below is the type that he would have chosen at one time, embellishments stuck here and there, but it was a way of using them up. Well that's it from me today, am off out for a celebratory meal with Pat and Edd tonight and am really looking forward to it. Keep warm.
