WOYWW #190

http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/woyww-190.html

Good morning all, well that's quite a clear photo for me, all the better as I have only just realised yes it is Wednesday and leaving my porridge dashed upstairs to take it. Well I am getting more organised so I have bought another little set of drawers £5 from Asda, not bad. So what can you see? Some black Kanban toppers that I have stamped and embossed, some are black on black. I am going to be in UIU mode for the next couple of weeks so that is why they are there. Scissors and my pokey tool on one side, pink gems, peel -offs and cello bags of useful things to be UIUpped! Well that's me, I don't think I will be blog hopping until this evening as I am in school all day today. Keep warm and keep crafting.

  6. Thank you for following me Alison, I will pop over to your blog afterwards. In answer to your question- Use it Up. So I am using things that I have either not used at all, or have had in my stash for a while.

  7. Thise draws will stop you over cluttering our desk - or you won't be able to open the bottom ones without a major tizz...good idea I say, as an experienced 'push back and tidy later' type person! Am on a bit of a UIU my self so can totally relate...

    1. I will have to push to the side and tidy later Julia! That is if I have time after trying to get round everyone's desks. It is Friday and I have only done two thirds of them, and my Sky plus is building up because I am too busy tooting!

  10. What would be do without all the little drawers? My one thing this week is LABEL, LABEL, LABEL them... I wasted too much time trying to find my tags and this and that last week. So I need to get details done. Happy WOYWW and Enjoy the week they go by so fast.

  15. Hi Carol,

Those drawers are terrific for storing small stuff - I have a few myself. I've heard lots of people in UK talk about toppers but I'm sure what they are. Are they die-cut and patterned or gold/silver and peel off the backing paper i.e. self-adhesive? Perhaps they're we call stickers?

Thanks for leaving me a comment, and your well wishes. We are not near the current fire centres, but we do have a lot of bush, especially ti-tree which the Firies call petrol bush because of the oil. This makes us alert to the local siren and information sources as you might imagine. Alert but not alarmed as they say.

    Cheers,

    1. Hi Ros, when I refer to blank topper, it is a plain die cut piece of card that I can stamp on to, colour, emboss, gild, in order that it be used as a focal point on my card. You can also buy ready printed themed ones in sets, e.g.Vintage cars, bears etc. I hope that helps and doesn't confuse you.

Very alert I would imagine, Ros, and we are worried about snow, which is lovely to look at, a nuisance, but not dangerous to the same extent as bush fires. Well do keep safe and crafting, and we will try to keep warm.

It's been a busy week with an unexpected call to work, but I'm slowly returning visits and getting around! Enjoy the rest of your week! Darnell #131
