Happy Birthday

I am entering this card in: http://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.co.uk/ - anything to do with stitching.

Good afternoon, well a cold day all round I would say, we still haven't had much but it is very slippy underfoot and on the side roads that haven't  been gritted, but all credit to the gritter men they have put some hours in to keep all main roads and bus routes clear. I vowed yesterday that I wouldn't step foot out until this evening for a cinema trip. But when I saw how slippy it was I went out to do a bit of  grit spreading myself, on the drive and on the pavement outside, I didn't want my Asda  delivery man falling with all those green baskets! Then my son-in-law asked me to drop him off at the train station, and my grand daughter has texted for a lift home from work at 5, and the cinema trip is off as Sarah is ill. Oh well my card, this is getting very repetetive: Background Diecuts with A View, blank topper-Kanban. LOTV stamp, coloured in with Promarker, s, ribbon, brad and sentiment from my stash, green ink-Papermania, dusting of Pan Pastels.
Well do keep warm.

  4. Hi Carol, another lovely card - such a sweet image and fab colouring and colour choices.

We had a fall of snow on Monday but nothing really heavy since - but what did fall is still lying so it's rather treacherous underfoot. They reckon we are due another fall Sunday night, I'll wait and see they keep telling us we are going to get more snow but nothing really materialises!!

  11. Hi Carol, Just popped across from Jenny's Blog, what a lovely background you have to your Blog.
Your card is really cute, loving the checked paper, lovely colours, the image is beautifully coloured in.
I see you live in Bolton, I am not that far away in Warrington, Cheshire. What's your snow like there, we have got another load of the stuff here, brrrrr, I wish it would learn to stay on Christmas Cards ha ha.

  12. Thank you Patricia, and thank you for following me. We are not too far away from each other are we, my daughter drives to the Royal Mail Depot there every day. The snow hasn't really stopped today its light as in very small flakes, a bit like icing sugar, but if you carry on sprinkling icing sugar it builds up, and that is what is happening. I like it on cards and through the window too! I will pop round to your blog later.

PS My linedance class was cancelled yesterday because of the snow, I have a different one today so it's a will they or won't they scenario today ha ha, although I don't like driving normally let alone in this 'stuff' so I will be glad if they do cancel ha ha. Stay warm xx
